2010 Yahoo Fantasy Golf Begins
For those of you looking to compete in the fantasy world, Yahoo.com begins its fantasy season starting January 7th. They've made some changes but not the one I was hoping to see. Namely, points for majors should be doubled. It would make the season a lot more interesting and put a premium on majors, as it should.
Overall, it's a lot of fun and competitive. You can create your own private league or join a public league. The skinny is it's free to play. Pick 8 PGA Tour players each week of which 4 play on any given day. You only get 10 starts per player for the year, choose wisely. Bonus points are given if your players finish in the top 3. Points accumulate during the whole year, but 3 segments (Winter, Spring and Summer) break up the year and prizes are awarded for overall segment winners.
Think you know who'll win better than the rest of us? Sign up and prove it. Here's a link:

Tees to Greens and all that's between!

The option to create a team while a tournament is in progress is available only on the day you sign up for the game. Otherwise, your participation doesn't begin until the next tournament.

The fee will be very nominal, you have to join the golf club in your nearest branch, for the address of the nearest branch you have to search in the gold website....

I think the categories that some of the guys fall under is pretty interesting. Ogilvy is a B player. Bubba Watson is an A. Paul Casey is a C. Guess you need to look past the big names to see what their value is in this game. Perhaps I should read the rules

I had no idea that you can create your team only on the day you sign up for the game, I guess I will be participating in the next tournament.

Excellently written article, if only all bloggers offered the same content as you, the internet would be a much better place. Please keep it up! Cheers.

I’m taking Ben Crane in a narrow choice over Rickie Fowler because I think a traditional Donald Ross design, like this week’s stop at Aronimink, tends to favor a more strategic player.
